CLASS 2 DRIVERS - NEW PASS WELCOME

24 HOUR COVER REQUIRED - DAYS AND NIGHTS

PAY RATE: £14.50 - £18.00 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED

Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly

Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card

Be responsible for the delivery of kitchen and bedroom products to customers homes: you will have a Driver’s Mate to assist

Load and unload vehicle with the assistance of a Driver's Mate

Carry out pre & post journey checks

Ensure timely delivery to customers

Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Experience delivering large or bulky goods would be beneficial

Good customer service skills as this is a customer facing role

Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial

Industry related training and support provided throughout
