MATERIAL HANDLER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 WEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFT PATTERN

PAY RATE: £12.21 - £24.42 PER HOUR

Immediate Starts

Day to Day Duties

Transferring raw materials, WIP and finished goods between the units and around the premises

Loading finished goods into the trailer

Taking delivery of goods, assigning goods received numbers and completing and file relevant paperwork

Arranging down packs as and when required using down packing sheets

Ensuring transportation of chemicals / stock is done in compliance with H&S standards

Ensuring waste is stored correctly and securely

Providing cover for Production and Warehouse staff as required

Securely strapping pallets of stock ready for transportation

Supporting on stock takes as and when required, ensuring stock control systems are kept up to date

Essential Skills

Current counterbalance licence and proven experience of operating an FLT

Material handling

Literacy and numeracy

Experience working in a warehouse

Computer skills

Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

Minimum of six months of experience

Quality control

Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task

Accuracy and attention to detail

Organisational skills

Reliability

Self-motivated

Desirable Experience

Maths and English at GCSE grade C

Bendi/Flexi Licence would be advantageous

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
