We are seeking a talented and motivated Head chef to join our dynamic kitchen team, a recently opened restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences and high-quality banqueting for private events and corporate functions. As Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in both our day-to-day restaurant service and the planning and execution of large-scale events. Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food across all services
Create and develop seasonal menus that showcase creativity and fresh ingredients
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including prep, service, and stock management
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Control budgets, GP, and wastage to maximise profitability
Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure a strong and motivated brigade
Work closely with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Creativity and passion for food, with an eye for detail and presentation
Strong understanding of cost control, stock management, and compliance
Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
A team player with a positive, hands-on approach
