Part- or Full-Time Nanny - Cheshire, UK

A busy family based in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire, seeks a kind, proactive, and experienced nanny for an ASAP start. The schedule is ideally Sunday through Wednesday, 8am-8pm, however, they are also open to offering 3 days (including Sunday) if preferred. If the candidate could offer some overnight care as well, then that would be appreciated!

Responsibilities

Care for 4 children aged 11-months, 3-years, 9-years and 11-years

Supporting daily routines, including school runs, nap schedules, activities, classes and homework

Creating fun, educational, and screen-free activities (especially during holidays)

Promoting reading and writing, and a general love for learning

Some domestic and international travel if possible (the family spend 5 weeks in the US during the summer break)

Light cooking for the children

Laundry and ironing for the children

Keeping children's and communal areas organised, clean and tidy

Some errands, ordering for the household etc

Tag-teaming with Mum (and, when travelling, the other nanny) to ensure consistent care for the children

Requirements

Kind, calm, and emotionally intelligent

Strong time management and planning skills

Maternal and nurturing, with a real love for children

Able to instil gentle boundaries, and bring a calm, fair and grounded approach

Active, with lots of energy - able to keep up with the children and meet their differing needs

Flexible and adaptable

Available to travel with the family during holidays

Lots of initiative and a pitch-in mentality, able to seamlessly tag-team with parents and stay a few steps ahead at all times

Safe, confident driver

Salary and Benefits

£17-£19/hr gross

Use of a car if required

Access to nearby flat if live-in while working preferred
