JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Missouri license and DEA required

Board: BC/BE in Primary Care (not required); EM experience required

DEA: Required

Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (ATLS only required for Medical Director); must be obtained within 6 months

Experience: Prior EM experience required

Other Qualifications:

CME from past 2 years

Procedure logs

Flu, TB, Medical clearance

BNDD license

COVID vaccine or approved exemption

MMR x2 or titers

Varicella x2 or titers

Hepatitis B antibody (quantitative)

Tdap

Quantiferon TB or 2-step PPD (or post-positive CXR)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 10-bed ED

Work 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage

Treat a range of emergency presentations including trauma, minor care, and triage

Accept moonlighting residents

Accurately document care in Power Docs EMR
