We are looking for passionate educators who are committed to becoming best-in-class professionals, continuously improving their instructional practices through collaboration and targeted development.Your Responsibilities:Implement engaging curricula and activities that meet our high academic standards.Analyze assessments to measure student progress and use this data to tailor your instructional practices.Focus on student learning, thinking critically and strategically to address their needs.Create a positive, structured learning environment that upholds our core values and expectations.Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.Commit to your professional growth by participating in our annual three-week staff orientation and ongoing training throughout the year.Engage in grade-level activities and support school-wide functions throughout the year.What We’re Looking For: Strong candidates for all teaching roles (new and experienced) will possess:A relentless drive to improve the minds, characters, and lives of students both in and out of school.An unwavering commitment to helping urban youth achieve greatness.A belief in and alignment with Uncommon’s core beliefs and educational philosophy.Mastery and enthusiasm for relevant academic subjects.Self-motivation, teamwork, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.A willingness to implement feedback from school leaders and colleagues to enhance your effectiveness as an educator.A passion for working with K-12 students; prior experience in schools or urban communities is preferred but not required.Additional Qualifications for Experienced Teachers:A proven track record of high achievement in the classroom.A minimum of two years of teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting is preferred.Valid State Certification and a Master’s degree are beneficial but not mandatory.Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university before employment begins.A cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher by the time employment begins.Why Join Us?

Our compensation philosophy values equity and fairness, aiming to attract and retain top talent.Compensation: The salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $64,700.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including relevant full-time teaching experience, education certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools.
