Job Function: \nNight Shift.\nCategorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification.

\nApplies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity.

\nImplements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor.

\nIdentifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly.

\nScreens patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines.

\n \n\n \n\n Job Requirements:\nGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). \nCurrent New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). \n2 years of acute care experience in this speciality.

\nBLS certification from the American Heart Association.

\nACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

\nNRP certification from the American Heart Association.
