Overview
The Web Developer (CMS Specialist) plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.
Time Commitment
Expected commitment is 5-10 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Kiona Foundation’s website in Webflow, WordPress, or Framer, incorporating accessibility, mobile optimization, and SEO best practices.
Integrate donation processing (Givebutter), newsletter signups, appointment booking, blog CMS, and embedded YouTube content.
Collaborate with graphic design and content teams to bring UX/UI mockups to life using existing visual style guides.
Perform routine technical updates, backups, and page performance optimizations.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Webflow, WordPress, Framer, coding. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mission-aligned, and capable of working independently in a collaborative, virtual environment.
