Tractor Trailer Driver Casual tractor trailer drivers play a crucial role in our operations, driving well-maintained trucks from one location to another or to a customer on an established route before returning home at the end of their day.

To keep packages moving across the country and beyond, they must be able to work days, nights and/or weekends, have a valid Class A CDL license in their home state, pass the DOT physical, possess reliability, responsibility and a love of truck driving, and have a legal right to work in the U.S. Additionally, they are expected to comply with appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

This is a seasonal role, which can be a great place to start and might even lead to a permanent position offering more advantages and benefits. As a permanent delivery driver, you can receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, and paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days. UPS also makes contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
