And, we're searching for a Managing Senior Partner (MSP) to lead the sales team and grow the Columbus market!
The MSP is the strategic leader responsible for driving top-line sales performance and operational growth within a designated market. This role combines direct leadership of the sales team, oversight of canvassing operations, and overall responsibility for creating a high-performance culture that consistently converts leads into revenue. The MSP ensures that the office meets or exceeds its lead generation and sales targets while developing future leaders and scaling market potential.
Responsibilities
As a Managing Senior Partner, you will be expected to recruit, train, and develop the sales teams in your territory using our proven sales system. You will also run weekly sales meetings and lead from the front as a player-coach. You will work closely with the installation and services team to ensure our customer get the highest level of service. You will report to the Regional Executive Partner and have direct interaction with the company's leadership.
Sales Leadership & Performance
Own the market's monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Directly manage the sales team: recruit, train, coach, and hold accountable
Lead daily sales huddles and weekly performance reviews with clear KPIs
Personally close key deals and model the sales process to drive results
Monitor conversion rates from lead to demo to sale, and optimize accordingly
Canvassing Oversight & Lead Generation
Manage and develop the Canvass Manager to ensure the team hits lead generation goals
Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales readiness
Review canvassing data weekly to track quality and quantity of appointments
Collaborate on scripts, routes, and recruitment strategies for canvassing staff
Team Building & Talent Development
Hire, onboard, and develop high-potential team members across both sales and canvass functions
Create a performance-driven culture centered on discipline, coaching, and accountability
Foster a team-first mentality with clear growth paths for top performers
Operational Management
Set and manage budgets for local office sales and canvassing operations
Partner with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
Ensure CRM and reporting tools are utilized correctly and consistently
Strategic Growth
Develop and execute market expansion strategies with executive leadership
Identify emerging opportunities, partnerships, or local adjustments needed to scale
Consistently report market pacing and forecasts to the Senior Vice President
Qualifications
5+ years of direct sales leadership, preferably in home improvement, remodeling, or in-home sales
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding aggressive sales targets
Experience leading both inside and outside sales teams
Strong data acumencomfortable using reporting tools to drive decisions
Exceptional communication, leadership, and motivational skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
