Minegars Auto Body, a family-owned and operated business, is seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Auto Body Technician, either local or willing to relocate, to join our team located at 4660 W Chinden Blvd, Boise, ID. As a Journeyman Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and restorations on various vehicles while working closely with the owner in a supportive, small-team environment. We offer competitive flat-rate pay based on experience, along with paid holidays, training, vacation, 401(k), health insurance, and a hiring bonus of up to $2000.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and restorations on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to OEM standards and customer specifications.
Utilize various auto body tools and equipment to straighten, align, and repair damaged vehicle components.
Replace damaged parts, weld, and repair structural components as needed.
Perform cosmetic repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through participation in paid training opportunities.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Journeyman Auto Body Technician or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in auto body repair and collision restoration.
Strong knowledge of auto body techniques, tools, and equipment.
Proficient in MIG welding and experienced with structural repairs.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive flat-rate pay based on experience ranging from $75,00-$140,000 plus
Paid holidays, training, and vacation.

Hiring bonus of $2000, paid in increments ($500 first week, $500 after 30 days, and $1000 after 60 days).
Assistance with moving expenses for out-of-area candidates.
