We are seeking a?Quoting Specialist?who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is key to delivering white glove customer experience, providing proactive, personalized communication and support to customers seeking forklift repair, service, and parts. You’ll work closely with Forklift Technicians and Sales staff to assess needs, build accurate quotes, and ensure a seamless transition from quote to service execution.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Forklift Technicians?to develop quotes based on technical assessments and customer requirements.
Apply mechanical knowledge and diagnostic insight to accurately interpret technician assessments, ensuring quotes reflect the true scope of repairs, parts, and labor required
Act as a communication bridge?between technicians, sales staff, and customers—ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and follow-through.
Deliver quotes with a consultative approach, supporting Sales staff in gaining customer approval through clear, value-driven communication.
Proactively quote second-segment opportunities to customers to help maximize their fleet’s uptime
Build quote templates to streamline the quoting process.
Convert approved quotes into service work orders?in Bailey’s ERP system and coordinate with Parts staff to ensure timely availability of required components.
Provide high-touch service?to walk-in and call-in customers, offering expert guidance and prompt quoting support.
Support special projects and additional duties?as needed, contributing to a collaborative and customer-first culture.

Education/Training/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with forklift or heavy equipment repair is preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems (especially e-Emphasis) is a plus
Skills and abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
