Key responsibilities
Integrated customer experience – Facilitate alignment across sales, marketing, technical, and customer service functions in close alignment and collaboration with local markets, ensuring a seamless, unified customer experience across all touchpoints.
Segmentation & customer engagement models – Develop and implement global segmentation, customer mapping, and engagement approaches in close alignment and collaboration with local markets, including hybrid high touch/low touch models tailored to customer value and potential.
Global KPI framework – Establish a common set of commercial performance metrics developed with input from local markets to ensure relevance, adoption, and comparability across regions.
Sales process alignment & path to purchase – Align and optimise commercial processes in close alignment and collaboration with local markets to make it easy for all customer segments to engage with ROCKWOOL.
Commercial data & insights – Enable the effective use of our Commercial Data Platform (“Customer Data Cockpit”) to deliver actionable, data driven customer insights, and ensure those insights are translated into prioritised actions that create measurable commercial impact.
Cross functional collaboration – Act as the bridge between functions, and local teams, ensuring initiatives are co-developed to support both global objectives and local market realities.
Scale commercial best practices and playbooks with local markets, and jointly identify and prioritise improvement opportunities, balancing quick wins with strategic initiatives.
What you bring
In this strategic role, we are looking for an experienced commercial excellence leader who combines strong strategic thinking with practical execution.
Proven experience and results in a commercial excellence manager role or similar strategic role in a complex global B2B environment.
Experience working across marketing and sales
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic direction into actionable commercial initiatives.
Strong change management leadership with a track record of embedding new processes, tools, and benefit realisation across diverse geographies.
Proven ability to engage and align with senior stakeholders across functions and markets.
Strong track record in customer journey mapping, segmentation, KPI frameworks, and process alignment — co developed with regional markets.
Strong analytical skills and extensive experience with business intelligence/reporting and translating data into commercial actions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills in a global and cross cultural setting.
MSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
Industry experience is an advantage, but not essential.
