What you'll do

Internship overview:

This internship provides a deep dive into the technical and architectural aspects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO). You will gain hands-on experience with automation, lifecycle management, and real-time data synchronization, while learning industry best practices and development standards used across Avanade projects.

Assignment Focus: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

* Automate One Version readiness using tools such as RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool), Task Recorder, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and Azure DevOps.

* Learn and apply X++, the programming language used in D365FO.

* Work with Data Entities to manage and manipulate business data.

* Apply ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) best practices for solution packaging and deployment.

* Explore and configure Dual Write architecture to enable real-time data synchronization between D365FO and Dataverse.

Skills and experiences

* Programming Proficiency: Fundamentals in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or X++; basic understanding of SQL and REST APIs.

* Tooling Familiarity: Interest or experience in Azure DevOps, Git, RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool), Task Recorder, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

* Analytical Excellence: Curiosity, structured problem solving to tackle complex ERP challenges, ownership, and a learning mindset.

* Integration & ALM Awareness: Exposure to Dual Write, Dataverse, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices is a plus.

* Nice to have: Experience with extending data entities in X++, configuring Dual Write mappings, working with map versioning, or building CI/CD pipelines for ERP solutions.

* Language: Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or French is a plus.

• Yu are currently enrolled in a computer science, software engineering, or related technical program at a college or university.

• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with technical and functional colleagues.

Duration: The internship program will be for 4-6 months starting from 1st of February/ 1st of March 2026. The internship will be unpaid, but we will provide you with training, guidance, and support throughout the program.
