JOB TITLE CARETAKER NATURE OF JOB FULL TIME INDUSTRY REAL ESTATE SALARY KSHS.

30,000-35,000 JOB LOCATION WESTLANDS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Property Maintenance & Cleanliness Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a clean and orderly environment.

Monitor the condition of the building, equipment, and facilities, and report or coordinate repairs promptly.

Ensure that all common areas (corridors, lobbies, staircases, washrooms, etc.) are well-maintained.

Tenant Relations & Support Serve as the first point of contact for tenants regarding facility-related issues.

Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and complaints.

Coordinate with the property management team to resolve tenant concerns effectively.

Supervision of Service Providers Oversee and coordinate the work of third-party service providers (e.g., cleaners, security, electricians, plumbers). Ensure that contractors follow proper procedures and safety standards.

Safety & Compliance Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify safety risks or hazards.

Ensure all fire safety, emergency, and security protocols are being followed.

Report incidents, accidents, or security issues to the appropriate authorities or management.

Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain logs for maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and tenant issues.

Provide regular reports on the condition of the property and any issues that require management attention.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION Diploma or Degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or a related field 3–4 years in property or facilities management, preferably in a similar caretaker role Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance procedures is an added advantage Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision Proactive in identifying and solving maintenance-related problems HOW TO APPLY If you meet the above qualifications, skills and experience share CV on Interviews will be carried out on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
