Position Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to be the central point of contact between our customers and service team. You’ll guide clients through the repair process, coordinate services, and ensure vehicles are handled with care and expertise. Your work will shape customer satisfaction and reinforce our dealership’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with customers about service needs, updates, and repair timelines

Prepare repair estimates and explain recommendations clearly and professionally

Collaborate with technicians to deliver timely and accurate service

Maintain thorough service records and documentation

Deliver a seamless, customer-first experience from drop-off to pick-up

Identify upsell opportunities for services, parts, or sales when appropriate

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a related role within the automotive or trucking industry

Strong mechanical understanding and familiarity with service operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable processing payments and cash transactions

Bonus: Background in automotive or truck sales

Qualifications

Required Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or service advisor role within the automotive industry.

- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

- Ability to understand and explain complex technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner.

- Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling, invoicing, and customer management.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
