- APP will not be working autonomously; Supervising physician will be present during assignment.

• Duties:

- ED staff responds to house codes, house codes are secondary to ED emergencies.

- EMS calls ED to offer report on incoming patients; ambulance unit across road from hospital transfers patients upon request (Transfers go to the facility that's 19 miles away)

- Air Ambulance Response Time: LifeNet w/ rapid response for air transport (infrequently needed)

• Trauma Level: IV

- No fast track in ED.

- Deliveries are transferred to OB triage.

- ED is not responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio.

- 24 hr availability for radiology, lab, OR, anesthesia, general surg.

Requirements:

• Active MI License

• BC/BE

• ATLS, ACLS, PALS

• With 3+ years of experience

• Must be local (mileage)

• COVID Vaccination proof
