Filler Operator
The Filler Operator is responsible for operating filling equipment to accurately dispense liquid products into containers in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove protective packaging from empty containers or materials
Inspect materials for damage or contamination
Ensure clean and continuous supply to the production line
Keep work area clean and organized
Follow all safety and food quality standards
Tends machine that fills pasteurized products into containers
Examines containers from all lines for seals, labels, weights, dates, and valves
Review with the lab for approvals of each product change on each machine
Observes flow of milk into machine and remove defective containers
Other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing setting preferred
Attention to detail for inspecting materials
Basic understanding of hygiene and safety procedures

Physical Demands:
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Frequent carrying, bending, walking, handling, reaching, and stretching.
Continuously work on concrete surfaces for 8 to 10 hours per day.
Work Environment:
The work environment may require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
Exposed to a noise level of 90 decibels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high. Wet/slippery work conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. They may also be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Work will occur in a refrigerated warehouse with temperatures as low as 34 degrees F.
