Position Overview

A leading construction services provider is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful execution of construction projects in the Louisville, KY area. This role plays a key part in coordinating project documentation, subcontractor compliance, scheduling, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of supporting both field and office operations to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Architectural Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Solid understanding of construction basics, field means and methods.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality and customer service.Responsibilities

Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Preconstruction teams to finalize bid packages and scopes of work.

Assist with key deliverables including project schedules, cash flow projections, monthly billings, and submittal schedules.

Review, process, and track submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASIs).

Support daily site operations through reporting, subcontractor coordination, and manpower tracking.

Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, subcontracts, plans, specifications, and change orders.

Oversee document control processes and ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and documentation changes.Benefits
