Jira and Confluence Administrator

Pay Range: $95000year - $100000year

Requirement:

Administer and maintain Jira instances, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Work Management.

Configure and manage projects, workflows, schemes (issue type, screen, field configuration, permission, notification), custom fields, and issue security.

Develop and implement custom workflows, post-functions, and validators to streamline business processes.

Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and data security.

Monitor Jira performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for scalability and efficiency.

Provide training and support to Jira users, creating documentation and guides as needed.

Administer and maintain Confluence spaces, ensuring optimal organization and accessibility of content.

Manage user permissions, groups, and space configurations.

Configure and troubleshoot Confluence macros, templates, and themes.

Oversee Confluence add-ons and integrations to enhance collaboration and content management.

Promote best practices for content creation, versioning, and knowledge sharing within Confluence.

Provide training and support to Confluence users.

Collaborate with software development teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Jira and Confluence configurations.

Good understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) to optimize the Jira/Confluence usage for development teams.

Assist in the integration of Jira/Confluence with development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines) where applicable.

Participate in discussions regarding process improvements and automation within the software development lifecycle.

Potentially contribute to minor scripting or automation tasks related to Atlassian tools using languages like Groovy (for Script Runner) or Python.

System Engineering / Model based System engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
