Salary: $130,000- $200,000(DOE)

Position Overview

The Senior Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning functions for the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, effective management of tax liabilities, and providing strategic tax planning advice to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.

Manage the tax compliance process and ensure timely filing of all tax forms.

Coordinate and oversee tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.

Provide tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.

Research and interpret tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for the company.

Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective tax management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or tax accounting.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems.
