Industrial Engineer & Maintenance Manager

Location: Lancaster Salary: £47,000 Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:30–5:00, Fri 8:30–3:45

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer & Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on role combining maintenance management, process optimisation, and project delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and manage maintenance operations, budgets, and preventive maintenance programmes.

Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Oversee capital projects (£500k+) from planning to commissioning.

Ensure safety, compliance, and high operational standards.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years in maintenance management and/or industrial engineering in manufacturing.

Experience with CMMS, project management, and process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma desirable).

Engineering qualification (HND minimum; bachelor’s preferred).

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
