Site Maintenance Director (Aerospace/Defense)

We are representing a industry recognized Aerospace/Defense organization who is actively seeking a Site Maintenance Director at their flagship operation.

Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over the Maintenance Engineering and Reliability departments while working closely with senior leadership.

This is a 600+ employee campus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to General Manager, the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 40+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership over the Maintenance Engineering and Reliability function.Complete ownership of the Reliability Engineering and Maintenance Departments (CapEx, Trades).Responsible for the training and development of staffDrive department metrics and deliverablesResponsible for complete AM/PM schedule of all plant capital equipmentManage all external service providers and relationships with contractorsProject Management activities inclusive of equipment installationsWork cross functionally with different internal departments including Engineering, Operations, and Quality.

POSITION REQUIREMENTSDegree is preferred for considerationCandidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant Engineering or Maintenance Leadership experience.Experience developing PM programExperience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is requiredAbility to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
