For our EMEA Medium Voltage Power Distribution team based in Hengelo, the Netherlands, we are looking a Junior Product Manager MV Switchgear, who will be responsible for the following:
**What you’ll do:**
The Junior Product Manger supports the Product Management team in executing product-related activities and ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy. This role helps communicate the business value and product intent to the New Product Development (NPD) team, assisting in documentation and coordination efforts. Working within the IEC Assembly portfolio (Primary & Secondary Switchgears, Ring Main Units & Transformers), the Junior Product Assistant reports to the Product Line Manager and collaborates closely with the Product Managers within the team and other key stakeholders in the business. The Junior Product Manager will also work closely together with the Marcom team to ensure that we have the relevant product literature available to position our products positively in the market, guide our front-end teams and customers, and support our new product introductions and growth strategies.
+ Support the growth of MVPD products by assisting in the identification and development of new opportunities across Data Centre, Utilities, Industrial, and C&I segments, under the guidance of a Senior Product Manager.
+ Contribute to team efforts to achieve goals for sales, profitability, new product introductions, and product portfolio, focusing on learning and development.
+ Assist in measuring and managing product performance, with a focus on understanding profitability and forecasting, supported by senior team members.
+ Help gather and analyze customer needs, competitive environment, and market trends for products and applications, with regular feedback and coaching.
+ Participate in defining the product roadmap and support product development activities, including collecting customer feedback for new products and upgrades. Assist in managing the product life cycle, including transitions to inactive stage, in collaboration with the services and aftermarket group.
+ Support partner engagement activities, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking of installation and commissioning partners, as directed by senior colleagues.
+ Learn and contribute to the end-to-end delivery model and business ecosystem to support go-to-market strategies, with ongoing mentorship.
+ Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, and operations teams to help ensure delivery readiness and serviceability, focusing on building cross-functional relationships.
+ Assist in promoting the product portfolio (e.g., transformer, switchgear, power modules, and LV busway systems) as part of scalable and efficient data centre infrastructure, with support from the marketing team.
+ Work with the MARCOM team to help develop segment-specific materials and success stories to increase awareness and visibility.
+ Participate in new product development activities, coordinating tasks as assigned and learning from experienced team members.
+ Support efficiency and cost-out programs, contributing ideas and assisting with implementation as appropriate.
**Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or engineering
+ 2+ years’ experience in a B2B environment.
**Skills:**
+ Fluent in English (written and spoken).
+ Basic understanding of MV Switchgear applications in distribution networks (including transformers, busbars, UPS).
+ Familiarity with Data Center, Utility, and Industrial markets.
+ Knowledge of IEC/EU standards and ability to read electrical drawings.
+ Appreciation of the sales engineering process and project lifecycle.
+ Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
+ Ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
+ Curiosity about MV/LV assemblies, modular trends, and digitalization.
+ Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
