Hvac Estimator

Job Description

The HVAC Estimator is responsible for evaluating project requirements and developing accurate cost estimates for new installations, upgrades, and maintenance contracts. You'll collaborate closely with clients, technicians, and project managers to ensure bids are competitive and reflect Medley Air’s standards of service and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints, plans, and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Conduct site visits to assess HVAC system requirements and challenges.

Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing.

Prepare and submit formal estimates and bid packages.

Support the sales team by answering client questions and adjusting proposals as needed.

Track and manage changes to project scope, pricing, and materials.

Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and pricing trends.

Qualifications:

3+ years of HVAC estimating experience (commercial and residential preferred).

Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, equipment, and labor costs.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Company Description
