Credentialing requires up to 90 days before candidate can start.Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.- Board Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)Outpatient position at an Ambulatory Surgery CenterVaried day shiftsNo on call or weekend shifts Average number of patients: VariesAdministers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.

Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A.

classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics.

Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospitalProvides leadership in the professional practice settingSupports and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleaguesDelegates tasks to assistive personnel in a respectful professional mannerIdentify patient problem and collaborates with the Anesthesia / Surgeon / Perioperative team in the selection of appropriate interventions (tasks)Interacts with members of the health care team to plan and coordinate the perioperative carePromotes a healthy work environment through promotion of professional communication standards, commitment to co-workers, and positive problem resolutionConducts appropriate pre-anesthetic assessments, and document findings.In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic plan of management, manages all aspects of anesthesia care to include preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative careMaintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all proceduresProvides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non-emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospitalAnticipates and exceeds patients and customers’ expectations that meet all elements of the medical center experienceIdentifies services and care improvement ideas and act on them to create excellent customer experiencesDemonstrates, supports, and assumes personal accountability for consistently upholding team members to the standards across the System and adhering to the medical center policies and procedures.
