Job Description
We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Insurance Sales Advisor who is passionate about sales, service, and helping others. This is a career development program designed for individuals who want to learn the insurance industry and build a book of business. You will work side-by-side with a Farmers Agency Owner and receive hands-on experience, mentorship, and support. This is a remote/hybrid position in Iowa only. Candidates must live in Iowa at the time of hire and maintain Iowa residency during employment.

Responsibilities
Build relationships with new and existing clients to understand their insurance needs
Generate leads through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outbound activity
Educate customers on coverage options for auto, home, life, business, and more
Provide excellent customer service, helping clients navigate the claims process and policy changes
Meet sales targets and growth goals in line with your training and development plan
Participate in ongoing training and professional development with Farmers University and other resources
Requirements
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to grow
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A willingness to be coached and a desire to learn the business
Goal-oriented mindset with the drive to succeed in a competitive industry
Sales or customer service experience preferred
Must be able to obtain appropriate insurance licenses
