As part of our Marine Forklift Operator, you'll be the backbone of our boat handling operations, using state-of-the-art equipment to safely move vessels and provide exceptional service to our marina community. Your Key Responsibilities:

Expert Vessel Handling

Safely operate our Wiggins 22,000-pound marine forklift to load and unload boats from the water and storage racks

Precisely position boats in designated storage areas and customer-assigned locations

Execute complex vessel movements with skill and attention to safety protocols

Quality Control & Equipment Stewardship

Conduct thorough vessel and forklift inspections, identifying any damages or maintenance needs

Perform preventive maintenance, including battery recharging and equipment lubrication

Maintain detailed activity logs and operational records

Ensure all operations meet company standards and safety regulations

Marina Operations Excellence

Deliver outstanding customer service during all vessel handling interactions

Create a safe, efficient, and injury-free work environment for the team and customers

Safety & Compliance Leadership

Strictly adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies

Assess weights, distances, and spatial requirements with expert judgment

Maintain the highest standards of operational safety and legal compliance

What You Bring to the Team

Essential Qualifications

Critical Experience Requirements

Marina Boatel Forklift Experience with Wiggins 22,000-pound forklift - This is absolutely essential!

Marine forklift operation - Industrial vehicle experience, preferably with marine equipment

Certifications & Licensing

Valid driver's license with clean driving record and current auto insurance

Current OSHA-compliant marine forklift certification

Commitment to maintaining all required certifications

Technical Skills & Physical Requirements

Deep knowledge of marina forklift operation and maintenance

Exceptional attention to detail and safety consciousness

Excellent physical condition with ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

Superior hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance

Expert ability to assess weights, distances, and heights accurately

Comfort working in all weather conditions throughout the seasons

Ability to assess and judge weights, distances and heights

Reliability

Have own reliable transportation to and from work

Take pride in your on-time attendance

Ability to work some weekends and holidays
