ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

DTI is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the worlds most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories. Summer 2026
Responsibilities:
Assist DTI engineers in design and documentation of electrical assemblies for radar transmitters and modulators for physics experiments, etc.
Wiring components using schematics, and/or wiring diagrams
Mechanical assembly and light fabrication, occasionally with power tools
Assist in testing with electronic test equipment, electronic test procedures
Requirements:
Enrolled in Electrical Engineering degree program as a Junior or Senior
Basic knowledge in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, sketches
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word required
Ability to interact with scientists, engineers, draftsmen and technicians
U.S. Citizen
Other:
Knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD a plus
