We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in a hybrid work environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, managing tax planning strategies, and ensuring accurate reporting for various entities.
This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to high-quality service and compliance for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review federal and state tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 forms.Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.Lead tax compliance projects and ensure timely filings for various clients.Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and assist in their development.Communicate effectively with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice.Stay updated on tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.Active CPA or EA license is required.A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory roles.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
