Job Details

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in ensuring product excellence and compliance with industry standards. This role is hands-on and directly impacts production quality, requiring strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Shift Availability:

2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

3rd Shift: 11:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, goods, and products at all production stages for compliance with quality and safety standards

Develop and maintain inspection reports and compliance documentation

Ensure products meet both company standards and federal/state regulations

Maintain, calibrate, and clean test equipment, and oversee calibration records

Collect and analyze data, preparing detailed quality reports

Identify opportunities for improvement in quality control processes

Perform manual, visual, and automated quality checks without disrupting production flow

Train operators on updated procedures and ensure ISO 9001 requirements are met

Conduct and coordinate internal audits, following up on findings

Report quality and safety issues to supervisors and QA management

Support production teams with technical input and problem-solving

Qualifications

High school diploma required; strong math and comprehension skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills preferred)

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Ability to interpret and execute verbal and written instructions

Knowledge of vendor sourcing and evaluation practices is a plus

Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle issues in real time on the shop floor

Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
