Role Summary

AKH Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to lead its endocrinology services. The ideal candidate will possess deep clinical expertise in managing complex endocrine disorders and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases

• Lead outpatient and inpatient endocrine services, ensuring evidence-based care and continuity

• Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and other specialties for integrated patient management

• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to clinical teaching and CME activities

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-wide clinical governance

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations

Qualifications & Licensing

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) + Specialist Certification in Endocrinology (e.g., DM, Board Certification)

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Consultant Endocrinologist

• Valid UAE license or eligibility for HAAD/DHA/MOH licensing

• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: AED 60,000 – 70,000 per month
