Max RTO: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

Active RN licensure (TX)

BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC)

NRP required

Minimum 2 years' Labor & Delivery experience

Scope of Role:

Provides care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum (required), and Nursery (preferred) units. Responsibilities include:

Labor patient care: 1:1-2 ratio

Postpartum: 1:6 ratio

Nursery: 1:6 ratio

Mother-Baby couplets: 1:3 ratio

Utilizes EMR: Centricity

Beds: 14

Role Summary:

The L&D RN demonstrates clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership while providing safe, high-quality care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients. Duties include patient monitoring, assisting during deliveries, postpartum care, and nursery support, following hospital policies and the Nursing Process.
