Toolmaker - Plastic Injection Molding
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker specializing in plastic injection molding repair to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing injection molding tools and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality of production.
Key Responsibilities
Repair and maintain plastic injection molding tools and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection molding processes
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform quality control checks on tools and molded products
Conduct routine maintenance on injection molding equipment
Collaborate with production teams to optimize tool performance and efficiency
Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of work performed
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Toolmaker in plastic injection molding
Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with quality control processes in manufacturing
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with maintenance procedures for injection molding equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
