HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role will primarily focus on repairs, troubleshooting, system tune-ups, and small service jobs. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to work independently and efficiently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues in a timely and professional manner

Complete tune-ups and system performance checks

Accurately document service calls, including work performed and parts used

Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and answer questions

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including service vehicle

Occasionally assist with HVAC installations in collaboration with the install team

Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience, particularly in service and repair

Current and valid EPA certification, along with all applicable state HVAC licenses

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle)

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters

Own set of basic hand tools (specialty tools and equipment will be provided)

Welding and HVAC-related HR credentials (e.g., OSHA training, refrigerant handling certification)

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
