Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for a Direct Hire Quality Inspector in Osseo, MN for a Medical Device manufacturing company!

Shift: 2nd

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM

Pay: $28 to $33 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment

Position Overview:

Inspectors use hand and/or computer controlled equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, height gages, vision system, and CMM machines to inspect high quality metal or plastic parts.

Inspectors perform first piece, in process, receiving and final inspection of goods and services.

Inspectors work from electronic or printed drawings, travelers, and inspection records to meet customer quality and traceability requirements.

Inspectors select tools, setup and perform the necessary inspection operations; use dimensioning and tolerancing formulas, and write programs for computer controlled equipment.

Inspectors use precision measuring tools to check the accuracy of the parts produced against customer specifications and industry standards.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Expertise working from and interpreting drawings, understand 1st and 3rd dimensioning and geometric tolerancing.

Expertise using and operating Inspection equipment as well as performing inspection of product using precision measurement equipment.

Expertise using software, writing and editing written inspection reports and inspection routines and/or programs.

Have a good understanding of the ISO 13485 standard.

Be able to learn new inspection processes and techniques

Numerically inclined and detail oriented
