Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Test Engineer or Senior Test Technician in power electronics or related fields
Proficient with test equipment: DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, environmental chambers
Strong experience in analog/digital circuit debugging and root cause analysis
Skilled in precision soldering and rework (fine-pitch, high-density components, SMD 0402, BGA)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
Comfortable working in high-voltage (>1kV) and high-power (>10kW) environments
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Preferred: Experience with LabVIEW, Python, or test automation tools; familiarity with high-voltage safety standards; IPC soldering/rework certification
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical testing, debugging, and validation of engineering prototypes and production units for power conversion and control systems
Build and wire electrical panels, test fixtures, and cable assemblies from engineering drawings and schematics
Execute and improve test procedures for analog and digital circuit boards
Perform SMD rework including 0402 components and BGA parts
Safely operate high-voltage and high-power test equipment
Use microprocessor and FPGA programmers for embedded system validation
Debug analog and digital hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators
Utilize engineering software for programming, testing, and debugging hardware/firmware
Generate detailed test documentation and reports on findings and issues
Maintain and manage a high-voltage lab environment, ensuring safety protocols
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers for product development and release
Support continuous improvement of test methodologies, tools, and processes
