Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with real-time insights on inventory, turnover, and purchasing trends; build robust data models using advanced Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and M queries; automate refresh schedules and publishing in Power BI Service; and ensure data integrity through regular audits and validation of ERP and other system data.
System Optimisation & Automation: Configure and fine-tune replenishment parameters in the ERP Inventory Planning Module (reorder points, safety stock, vendor lead times); develop automated workflows for key processes such as inter-warehouse transfers and optimised purchase orders; and model inventory policies to implement the most cost-effective strategies.
Strategic Planning & Purchasing Consolidation: Analyse and forecast demand and supply across multiple warehouses to identify opportunities for inventory centralisation; execute consolidated purchasing strategies to achieve economies of scale, negotiate better pricing, and reduce administrative overhead; and prepare reports for leadership on the financial impact of purchasing consolidation and inventory optimisation initiatives.
Advanced Analytics & Problem Solving: Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and data anomalies using ERP, Power BI, and SQL; conduct root cause analysis on issues such as stockouts, overstocks, and slow-moving items; and implement data-driven corrective actions while monitoring KPIs to measure success.
Technology & Tool Management: Manage and maintain data pipelines and connections in Microsoft Azure; write and execute efficient Microsoft SQL queries to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data for analysis and reporting while staying current with ERP, Power BI, and Azure updates to leverage new features and improve data processes.
AI Data Analytics: Explore and apply machine learning models and AI services for advanced forecasting, demand sensing, and predictive inventory analysis to proactively manage supply chain risks.
