Additional Information About the Role
Shift information: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on Wednesday for late night group with the 1 extra time spent will be flexed anytime during the week (AM or PM).
Clients: This Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) team works with clients that have both mental health as well as substance use disorder diagnosis’s- to provide Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders services to them.
MUST HAVE skills for this position: Flexibility as clients can be unreliable due to homelessness and/or relapse. Fully licensed – LPC, LCSW or Provisionally licensed PLPC, LMSW – strongly preferred – OR has a a qualifying substance use disorder credential – (QAPC Qualified Addiction Professional Credential)) such as CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC
Job responsibilities:To meet with clients in the community/office to work on developing coping skills with them that will encourage harm reduction (less substance use) and assist them in achieving their personal treatment plan goals, i.e., employment, stable housing, etc.
Overview
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Responsible for providing ongoing treatment to persons identified with Co-Occurring Disorders. Maintain fidelity standards for Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment program.
Responsibilities
Clinical supervision for IDDT team members to receive CCDP certification from Missouri Certification Board.
Plans and conducts Individual Sessions, Group Education and Group Counseling in accordance with IDDT fidelity standards.
Completes Co-Occurring Evaluations in accordance with IDDT fidelity standards.
Reviews, signs and contributes to co-occurring people’s treatment plan.
Maintain and monitor fidelity to the Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment program.
