Gastroenterology Role in AL - Light Call
A healthcare facility in Alabama is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join their team! This position offers the chance to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the community.
Practice Setting
Not-for-profit, 280+ bed Level 3 community hospital serving the surrounding areas
Join a team of GI providers, including 1 GI Hospitalist and 2 seasoned Nurse Practitioners
Access to state-of-the-art equipment, including Olympus scopes in and advanced imaging services onsite
Modern clinic with 3 exam rooms, private physician office, and nearby lab
Schedule
4.5-day schedule (Monday-Thursday clinic; Friday optional for procedures)
1.5 Clinic Days, 3 Procedural Days (Flexible scheduling)
Call is a 1:3 rotation with 7 days of call per month maximum
Minimal call volume; rare after-hours call-ins
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed base salary of $600,000, plus wRVU production bonuses. Total earning potential exceeds $900,000
$75k sign-on bonus
Up to $1,000/month for student loan forgiveness

200 PTO hours annually, including federal holidays
5 CME days annually with a $5,000 allowance
