Key Responsibilities

Evaluate credit applications with a primary focus on LPO financing and invoice discounting facilities.

Conduct thorough risk analysis of applicants by assessing financial statements, bank records, and other relevant data.

Conduct detailed due diligence, including the validation of crucial documents like purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports and recommendations to the credit committee or management.

Monitor the performance of the existing loan portfolio to identify early warning signs of potential defaults.

Collaborate with the collections team on recovery processes for non-performing loans.

Ensure that all credit activities comply with the company's internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst, ideally within a lending institution.

Mandatory: Demonstrable, in-depth experience in structuring and assessing LPO financing and invoice discounting deals.

Strong financial analysis, modelling, and credit reporting skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIBN) are a significant advantage.
