Location: Brighton

Pay: £13.70 – £15.05 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join one of the lovely early years settings we work with in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and wants to gain valuable experience in a nurturing and engaging environment.

In this role, you will help provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive space for young children, assisting the team in delivering fun and engaging activities that encourage learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support staff in providing high-quality care and play opportunities for children.

Help set up and tidy away activities and resources.

Encourage positive play and interaction between children.

Assist with daily routines such as snack time, toileting, and outdoor play.

Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children.

Requirements:

Experience of working or volunteering with young children (desirable but not essential).

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply.
