Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse staff, manage shipping and receiving activities, and ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can balance hands-on management with strategic planning to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

By fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, the Warehouse Supervisor will support team development, ensure safe practices, and play a vital role in the success of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations.

Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.

Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to manage inventory, shipments, and performance reporting.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Ensure equipment is safely operated and properly maintained.

Prepare and analyze shipping/receiving reports and address any discrepancies or delays.

Lead, motivate, and develop team members to ensure a high-performance culture.

Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.

Qualifications:

3+ years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in warehouse management or logistics preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a diverse team.

Proficiency in ERP systems, shipping documentation platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Solid understanding of warehouse procedures, lean management techniques, and best practices.

Knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations.

Proven track record of implementing process improvements.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures (non-climate controlled, climate-controlled, or outdoor areas).

Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

Frequent use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification/training required).

Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and strict deadlines.

May require evening, weekend, or overtime hours.

PPE (safety shoes, vests, gloves, hard hats) required.

Frequent exposure to moderate noise levels from warehouse operations.
