Irrigation Technician

Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team in San Marcos, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in irrigation systems who values landscape health and efficient water use. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install irrigation systems including piping, valves, and controllers

* Perform routine inspections and maintenance

* Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions

* Adjust irrigation schedules for optimal water efficiency

* Conduct seasonal services such as winterization and spring startups

* Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components

* Conduct site assessments and manage parts inventory

* Maintain accurate records of service and repairs

* Ensure compliance with safety and water regulations

* Communicate effectively with clients and team members

* Maintain a clean and safe job site

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED

* Valid driver’s license

* Irrigation certification preferred (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician)

* Prior experience in irrigation installation and maintenance

* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

* Reliable transportation to job site

* Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Start Date: Immediate

- Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

- Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts, with possible overtime)
