Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

SUMMARY

Assists the pharmacist in a compound setting at the Mount Laurel location performing the following duties. Shift will be 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, M - F.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist:

Compound non-sterile preparations such as capsules, creams, suspensions, suppositories, and other

Label and package prescription medications

Assist with the receiving and ordering of pharmacy products and supplies

Candidates will have:

MUST HAVE NJ PHARMACY TECHNICIAN LICENSE.

Strong communication skills

Be organized and detail oriented

Possess the ability to read and interpret documents

Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
