The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Saturday and Sunday shifts availableOur team has dozens of experienced and capable Ob/GYN Physicians to provide supportExcellent opportunity to build relationship with Hoag HealthSeasoned and tenured support staffGrowing program with increasing demands for obstetrics and women's health servicesEMR: Epic ResponsibilitiesPerform rounding in the hospital to provide care for patients post-delivery and post-surgeryMonitor patients during prenatal visits, labor, and delivery.Provide education and support to patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Assist in various procedures including catheter care and ventilation management.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing individualized care plans.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.Participate in utilization review processes to ensure quality of care standards are met.

RequirementsMinimum of two years of experience as a Labor and Delivery NurseMinimum of two years as a Nurse Practitioner in inpatient settingCalifornia Nurse Practitioner license in good standingGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programExperience or knowledge in critical care settings such as PICU or acute pain management.Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.Compassionate approach towards patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support.
