Pay Rate: $19–$23/hour

Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative is the frontline contact for patients seeking diagnostic services. This role involves collecting quality blood specimens, maintaining accurate documentation, and creating a trusting, professional environment for patients undergoing medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under area supervisor direction

Maintain a safe and professional workspace

Confidently collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens

Follow established practices and procedures for specimen handling

Maintain complete, accurate documentation and required records

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, and the public

Required Experience:

Minimum of 6 months relevant experience

Proficiency in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information

Nice-to-Have Experience:

1+ year of phlebotomy experience

Customer service experience in retail or service settings

Experience with medical assistant or paramedic duties

Required Skills:

Excellent phlebotomy technique

Keyboard/data entry proficiency

Ability to deliver error-free work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills:

Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA)

Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Additional Skills:

Medical training (MA or paramedic preferred)

Organizational commitment

Process excellence awareness

Sensitivity to confidentiality
