The Expansion Associate (EA) is responsible for helping LTYC achieve both revenue and new business goals in a defined market segment. EAs will be responsible for the top-of-funnel, outbound sales strategy, using sales automation tools to maximize communication with prospects through phone calls, emails, and other outreach methods. EAs will lead generation efforts, build prospect lists, research contact information, qualify leads, and schedule meetings, presentations, and demonstrations once fully trained.

The primary audience for LTYC's solutions includes K-12 school districts, charter academies, youth/recreation camps, Assistant Superintendents, CAOs, Title 1 directors, and other leaders in youth programming for summer and after school initiatives.

Reports to: Expansion Team Coordinator and Executive Leadership Team

Primary Responsibilities:

Support Expansion Coordinator and Executive Leadership team on outbound strategies and lead generation efforts.

Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.

Maintain consistent and efficient daily prospecting metrics:

Up to 10 outbound phone calls per day

Up to 20 personalized emails or other modes of communication per day

Ensure CRM hygiene by maintaining timely updates and lead conversion using Zoho CRM.

Learn about relevant funding streams (ESSER, ESSA, Title 1, 21st CCLC, etc.) and consult potential customers on how they can fund their programs.

Collaborate with the expansion team by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each meeting.

Attend and participate in expansion meetings and relevant intensive trainings.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

6 months to 2 years of experience in a lead generation role for an education-focused or nonprofit organization.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently in a remote office environment.

Highly detail-oriented with a strong growth mindset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using the following is a plus:

Zoho

Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience supporting recruitment in a nonprofit or education-based organization.

Familiarity with recruitment compliance and labor regulations.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and improve administrative processes.

Availability for occasional evening or weekend events or interviews as needed.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other recruitment-related tools.

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Positive attitude, high level of professionalism, and customer service.
