POSITION PURPOSE:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities
within the production process. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining
quality standards, managing teams and resources, and driving workflows to achieve production
targets in a safe and compliant manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, organize, and schedule production activities to meet business goals and deadlines.
2. Manage resources, time, and manpower effectively to optimize production output.
3. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity
and efficiency.
4. Lead, mentor, and supervise the production team to ensure high performance and
accountability.
5. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges and
minimize downtime.
6. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance,
Supply Chain) for smooth operations.
7. Prepare, monitor, and analyze production MIS reports to support decision-making.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
9. Deliver clear and effective presentations and communication to management and
stakeholders.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and ensure workplace
adherence.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 8–10 years of proven experience in Production Management.
- B.E. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in a similar industry will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in production planning, team management, and process optimization.
