Data Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Moline, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent role, you will serve as a key partner in translating business needs into actionable technical solutions while driving impactful data storytelling and visualization. As a liaison between business units and the Analytics Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of accurate and meaningful data products.

Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications to support data-driven decision-making.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and the Analytics Team, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

• Develop and implement data visualization strategies to effectively communicate insights and trends.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including business owners, IT teams, and security personnel.

• Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability in compliance with organizational standards.

• Utilize tools such as Power BI, R Studio, and Microsoft Visual Studio to analyze and present data.

• Drive initiatives for data storytelling, enabling stakeholders to understand and utilize insights effectively.

• Conduct gap analysis and collaborate on business requirement documentation.

• Participate in Agile Scrum processes to enhance analytics solutions.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.• High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced education in a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related roles.

• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, R (or Python), and R Studio.

• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and storytelling methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Apache Spark, BusinessObjects, and Erwin Data.

• Experience with Agile Scrum practices and AB testing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
